Minister son Tej Pratap deputes 3 doctors, 2 nurses for ill father Lalu Prasad

Health Minister and elder son of RJD president Lalu Prasad, Tej Pratap Yadav deputed three doctors and two nurses 24x7 for his father at his official bungalow, 10 Circular Road, when he was ill last week.

A team of three doctors Dr. Naresh Kumar, Dr Krishna Gopal, Dr. Aman Kumar and two nurses was asked to report at Lalu's house and not at the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS) where they are employed.

In April last year, an advanced life support ambulance which used to be stationed outside the residence of Health Minister Tej Pratap Yadav was removed after the Opposition raised questions over it.

The ambulance, under 108 service, equipped with a ventilator, echo-cardiograph machine, defibrillator and paramedical staff used to be parked outside 10 Circular Road, the official residence of former Chief Minister Rabri Devi, where Tej Pratap lives with his parents.

"It was meant for service of people who come to meet me at the residence," Tej Pratap had then said.
